How To Make A Berlin Calling Recipe | Cocktail Masterclass Drink Recipe | Vegan Friendly
Our Berlin Calling Recipe. This is a drink that has been one of the standout performers on our rooftop spritz menu, and so we thought we'd adapt it ever so slightly and serve it out as the welcome drink for our range of award-winning cocktail making masterclasses.
Belsazar's rich and complex Rosé vermouth is paired nicely with a glug of Pomelo & Pink Peppercorn Tonic, all finished off with a dash of grapefruit bitters.
INGREDIENTS:
🌸 50ml Belsazar Rosé.
🍈 Top with Pomelo & Pink Pepper Tonic.
🍊 Dash of Grapefruit Bitters.
🟠 1 Grapefruit for garnish.
BERLIN CALLING COCKTAIL TRIVIA:
Belsazar is a vermouth brand with a difference - it's produced from wines made in Germany's South Baden region and fortified with Schladerer fruit brandy, produced by a family-owned and run company in the Black Forest, all married off in stoneware. We named our drink Berlin Calling in honour of this vermouth's rather quirky providence.
METHOD:
1) Get yourself a highball glass, or a similar tall glass with a decent capacity
2) Using your jigger to measure, pour 50ml of Belsazar Rosé directly into your glass
3) Grab your bitters and shake a couple of drops into the glass
4) Fill the glass to the brim with cubed ice and fill the rest of the way with your Pomelo & Pink Pepper Tonic
6) Cut a thin wedge of grapefruit and place at the top for your garnish.
7) Serve and enjoy!
