Thunder Talk by Reshama Shaikh at PyOhio 2021.

Plotly is a versatile Python graphing library which lets us make interactive graphs. In this talk, I will show how to go from a typical static visualization to one enriched with annotations which will convey to your audience a more complete interpretation of your visualization. The examples use COVID-19 data from the Johns Hopkins data repository. The inspiration for this project was: "An evidence review of face masks against COVID-19" (https://www.pnas.org/content/118/4/e2...)
