In this video, I walk you step by step through creating a new VirtualBox virtual machine running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Server using the unattended installation feature.

We start by downloading the Ubuntu Server ISO, then create a new VM in VirtualBox, configure CPU, memory, and disk settings, and complete the installation automatically. After the install, I show how to log in, enable SSH access, and configure networking using a bridged adapter so the VM gets an IP address from your home router.

I also demonstrate:
Setting a static IP address via the router
Adding a DNS hostname for easy access
Flushing DNS on Windows
Fixing the keyboard layout issue caused by unattended installs

This is a great beginner-friendly guide if you want a clean Ubuntu Server VM for labs, home servers, or testing environments.
