Abandoned Air Force Radar Station - Urban Exploration

This video, is a small exploration of an abandoned Air Force radar station that was built during the cold war. It was constructed by the United States Air Force in the early 1950s in order to track Soviet airplanes if they were attempting to cross the North Pole and enter into US airspace. The Air Force closed down the facility in the 1960s and it ended up becoming a County sponsored nursing home until the 1980s. After the County closed it's doors, it sat dormant and was only visited by wild animals and vandals.
