Your footage can have perfect exposure and white balance — but if the skin tones look wrong, the whole image looks wrong.

In this DaVinci Resolve tutorial, I will show you how to perform secondary color corrections to fix bad skin tones, refine contrast, and target saturation precisely. You’ll learn how to use qualifiers, S-curves, and the hue vs hue and hue vs sat curves.

🎨 What you’ll learn:

How to normalize skin tones using the Vectorscope and HSL Qualifier
Fix green or magenta shifts in skin
Use Hue vs Hue and Hue vs Sat curves for precision color control
Refine contrast with custom S-curves
Target saturation without breaking colour balance
Avoid clipping, over-contrasting, and over-saturation
