The developer describes the game as a 3-player co-op shooter set in the Control universe. In FCB Firebreak, players join a containment response team inside the Oldest House to contain supernatural anomalies. Each mission, known as a Job, combines action combat with elemental puzzle-solving and dynamic environments. Choose your Kit, gear up, and coordinate with your squad to complete escalating mission tiers. FCB Firebreak is a round-based, objective-focused shooter designed around environmental interaction, strategic teamwork, and replayable missions.
The game features adjustable difficulty, no live-service mechanics, and supports both solo play with bots and multiplayer co-op. Additional kits and missions will be added post-launch for free.
