Sikorsky S-92 "Fire Raptor"
The Sikorsky S-92 is making its debut as a firefighting helicopter with B.C's VIH Aviation Group! In partnership with Milestone Aviation, VIH is leading the way with this world-first deployment.
With a 5,000-litre Helitak tank and advanced modifications, VIH's S-92 firefighting helicopter, being referred to as the "Fire Raptor," has now been deployed to fight fires. The company plans to convert two more S-92s for the 2025 fire season.
