SQL Server Series: Power View Ad hoc Reporting and Report Alerts

Wouldn't it be nice to allow your business users to create their own interactive analytic reports? How about taking this even further and allowing your customers to create them too? Power View is the tool that will help this become a reality. The newest addition to the SSRS is an add-on that allows your users to explore semantic models from an SSAS Tabular instance or any PowerPivot data source. We will deep dive into the features that are surfaces and how this will integrate into key scenarios within your organization. We will also explore the newest key feature within the standard reporting services reports that allows end users to have SQL Server watch for data thresholds to be broken, which will then send out an alert for them to be notified of this event.
