30fps to 60fps Conversion Using Sony Vegas and Twixtor
A tutorial in frame interpolation / motion interpolation / soap opera effect using Sony Vegas and the Twixtor Plugin. Naturally, to follow the guide, you'll need to have both installed.
This technique can also be used to do double frame rate on any of your videos. You can do 24 fps to 48 fps, 25 fps to 50 fps, etc. Just remember to adjust the project settings accordingly.

You can also use this technique for 30fps games captured in 60fps recorders. What happens there is that the 60fps recorder captures frames twice, so the end result is that the 60fps capture still looks like 30fps motion. If you use this procedure, you'll be able to interpolate the frames inbetween, and make it look like real 60fps motion.
