Report about grandma https://www.newkaliningrad.ru/special...
On paper, Military Town No. 7. Before the war, there were no buildings or structures, all the buildings were from the Soviet period, around the beginning of the 50s. Older buildings are in the Stalinist Empire style. The garrison fuel depot VCh 2442 was located. On the territory there is a three-story house, auto boxes, a boiler room, a laboratory, a water tower, its own bakery and a fur farm. A canteen, a club, and also a landmark - some kind of tower with a huge black hemisphere of unclear purpose. There was also its own railway line. The border guards were withdrawn from here in 2007 to Chernyakhovsk, and that is why the territory was abandoned.
The military town was first bought by private individuals, and then sold to the region for 40 million. The construction of a migration center was planned. But something went wrong.
In 2014, two guards lived here, as well as 75-year-old Anna Kornilova, who was accidentally left in an empty military town.
As of September 2016, the border outpost was completely abandoned.
Due to the fact that the town is located far from civilization, quite a lot of things from the previous inhabitants remained on the territory. Both furniture and posters on the topic of the border service.
