New initiatives under RNTCP Program for TREATMENT of Tuberculosis: NEET PG 2020, FMGE, PSM tutorials
In this video I will describe about what's new under RNTCP Program for treatment of Drug Sensitive TB. The first change is in the categorization of TB. Category II that was earlier Previously treated cases has now been removed and included in Category I that includes both new and previously treated cases. The duration of treatment for category I which is Drug Sensitive TB is 6 months. I have also discussed about the follow up required.
