The TEXT function lets you change the way a number appears by applying formatting to it with format codes. It's useful in situations where you want to display numbers in a more readable format, or you want to combine numbers with text or symbols.
=Text(Value, format_text)
Value is the numerical value that we need to convert to text.
Format_text is the format we want to apply.
The IF function is one of the most popular functions in Excel, and it allows you to make logical comparisons between a value and what you expect. So an IF statement can have two results. The first result is if your comparison is True, the second if your comparison is False.
Syntax. Use the IF function, one of the logical functions, to return one value if a condition is true and another value if it's false. For example: =IF(A2 greater then B2,"Over Budget","OK")
The OR function returns TRUE if any of its arguments evaluate to TRUE, and returns FALSE if all of its arguments evaluate to FALSE. One common use for the OR function is to expand the usefulness of other functions that perform logical tests.
The syntax, or format, of the OR function is: =OR(logical1, [logical2],...) The OR function can handle up to 255 arguments, each of which is a logical test. Only one argument is required.
