For several days, I'd been trying to tag three calves, but there was no way to do it in the open pasture. The youngest calf was guarded by the entire herd, and it only took a moment for him to wake up and run off to the cows.
Finally, I decided to take advantage of the herd's move to the next quarters. The plan was simple... let the cows pass, keep the calves in the pen, and catch the three I wanted. Of course, instead of three, there were eight left, but the important thing was that this time they had nowhere to run.
I'll also show you what the change of quarters looks like, along with the grass I previously sowed in the molehills. Please watch and comment.
