Python is a scripting language that opens up a world of possibilities for your lighting and look development toolset. Within Katana, each part of the UI can be customized and controlled by creating Python scripts that make use of its APIs and modules.
This tutorial gives you a solid foundation for writing Python scripts in Katana.
