ABOUT HOOPS (NES)

Hoops is an NES basketball game that takes place in the slums. The object in the game is to win a major sandlot basketball tournament, so that the player's character can get out of the ghetto. The game is done in a halfcourt style with the player having a choice to disable or enable winners outs. The music in the game is an 8-bit interpretation of early 1990s hip hop music. Unlike professional basketball, a player can commit as many fouls as he wants and never has to worry about being fouled out.

Known on Famicom as: Moero!! Junior Basket
