Corruption and rigging in Kenya, this time has for the first time touched national exams in a big way. Raila Odinga, the Azimio supremo, today made explosive revelations on the greed that saw powerful government officials make the careless decision of withdrawing exam printing from the usual UK company (allegedly because they refused to bribe officials). They then sourced for a new printer based along Mombasa road who did not have the capacity and therefore subcontracted to India. All this at the 11th hour. And it was this that set of a chain of mishaps that resulted in the mess that is the 2023 national exams.
