Excel spreadsheets are a great way to compile a large amount of data, however, there may be a situation where you only need to print a portion of your information. Here is how to define your print area in Excel.
1. On the worksheet select the cells that you want to define as your print area
2. On the Page Layout tab on the toolbar select Print Area
3. Select Set Print Area
4. Your print area is now set
Setting multiple print areas:
1. You can set multiple print areas in the same document by holding down the control key and click on the cells you would like print
2. Once you’ve chosen your areas to follow steps 1-5 to set your print area
3. Each print area will print on its own page
To edit the print areas that have been set:
1. In the top toolbar select view
2. Page Break Preview
To add cells to an existing print area:
1. In the workbook select the cells you would like to add
2. On the Page Layout tab click Print Area the click Add to Print Area
To clear a print area:
1. Select Print Area then select Clear Print Area
2. All print areas in the worksheet will now be removed
