A survival game designed for multiplayer. In V Rising from Stunlock Studios (creators of Battlerite), you take on the role of a vampire traversing a dark land, trying to regain your weakened strength and build a true empire. V Rising is a multiplayer-focused survival game in which players assume the role of a vampire. The game was developed by Stunlock Studios, a Swedish team whose portfolio includes projects such as Bloodline Champions and Battlerite.
V Rising takes players on a journey to a fantastic, gothic world. Players assume the role of a vampire whose centuries-long slumber has ended. Now, the protagonist attempts to regain his weakened strength and build a true empire that will terrify both the people of this dark land and the monsters that infest the wilderness, as well as other bloodsuckers.
V Rising offers a bird's-eye view of the action. The game offers players a vast open world, featuring gloomy forests, settlements, and cavernous dungeons. As a vampire, free exploration is only possible under the cover of night; During the day, however, we are forced to hide from sunlight and sneak in the shadows. During the game, we hunt for life-giving blood, plunder villages, kill bandits, and face off against enemy soldiers. We also fight a variety of creatures and engage in battles with other bloodsuckers. Battles are dynamic, requiring dexterity and reflexes (by timely attacks and dodging). We eliminate adversaries with melee and ranged weapons, or by utilizing various combat abilities and spells.
As we progress, we develop our character, acquiring increasingly powerful skills and collecting increasingly better equipment; we craft new equipment ourselves or acquire it in other ways (for example, by taking it from defeated enemies). Along the way, we also acquire resources for expanding our fortress. The castle serves as our base of operations, a place to store our loot, and a rallying point for our troops. Therefore, we must ensure that it not only looks good but is also as practical as possible. We recruit soldiers from among the humans we choose to transform into vampires. We need an army both to raid other players' strongholds and to defend our own stronghold. On the other hand, nothing stops us from forming alliances with other players and facing all dangers together.
The visuals in V Rising are dark and well-crafted.
