How to do a soft lock on system like in the Witcher 3 where your charcter looks at the closet enemy but is not locked on to them. It's makes attacking enemies so much easier and is pretty much standard in some from or another in modern games.

In this video I attempt to recreate the witcher 3's soft lock on system. This is only one part of the system. This part will show how to make the player lock on to an enemy when the camera is looking at an enemy.
