I'll show you how to make a paper bird step by step using origami, an easy way to fold paper into a beautiful bird.
The only material you need to make an origami bird is a sheet of paper, either white or colored. The size doesn't matter; just keep in mind that the larger the paper, the larger your bird will be (we used a 20-centimeter square).
You don't need scissors or glue, as we'll be using origami techniques. All you have to do is fold and crease the paper following the instructions in this video—it's that simple.
Keep in mind that the color of your bird will be the same as the color of the paper you use for this craft. You can also use a sheet of paper with a different color on each side, creating a two-toned bird using just one sheet of paper.
As you can see, this is a 3D origami bird, meaning it's three-dimensional, so you can stand it upright on its feet. You can place it on a tree branch as a decoration, and it will look lovely.
