What if a counterfeit Apple product didn't suck?
I made a video about the Apple Superdrive, and someone thought I bought fake one on eBay because it didn't have an Apple logo under side drive. That made double check it contrary to that comment, mine does have the logo, and it's definitely legitimate.

Modern macOS still supports optical media pop in a disc, and it'll mount . albeit slower than the Apple SuperDrive.
To test out the drive, I used a CD and the popular open-source utility, Burn.
