This video shows and explains how to get the best possible performance on the Game Cube and Wii emulator Dolphin 5.0, on a PC or Notebook with limited hardware.
Do not expect miracles, do not expect huge improvements for very limited machines. But, depending on your computer and game you want to play, these configurations can help you extract every bit of performance from Dolphin, specially for games that run at 30 FPS.

*You might get better performance if you use a SSD to store your games and virtual memory.
►"What are the system requirements to run Dolphin?"
A: According to the developers on the official website:
→OS: 64 bits operational system. Windows 7 Sp1 or better, Linux, and MacOS Yosemite 10.10 or better. Windows Vista SP2 and other Unix based system might work, but aren't officialy supported.
→Processor: CPU with SSE2 instruction (you can see with software like HWiNFO64). Recommendable modern dual-core CPU with atleast 3 GHz clock speed. 2 GHz might work for less intense games.
→Graphics: Reasonably modern GPU, with DirectX 10.0 and OpenGL 3.0 support. Recommendable GPUs with DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.4 support.
→RAM: Amount and speed of the RAM wont impact on Dolphin's performance very much. At least 2 GB is enough. Have at least 4 GB installed just to be sure. I never had Dolphin take more than 900 MB on my system.
