This is part 1. I discuss the Nomenclature of the Retevis RT-47V , A MURS radio from Retevis.
this is a similar radio to the rt47, except instead of FRS , it is a MURS radio.

In part 2, I will discuss the radio a bit more and how it looks on a spectrum analyzer. Additionally, I will hack the radio to work on the Ham Radio Bands, and we will test it to determine how clean or dirty it looks on the 1.25M band. Finally, I will test the IP67 Rating of the radio as well as the Transmit and Receive.
