👩🏻‍🔬🤓 This is the latest in tech for sleep apnea.

At the SLEEP 2024 conference I learned so much about this. Here are the 6 companies mentioned :

@inspiresleep
Inspire stimulates the tongue so that when you're sleeping it doesn't flop back and cause an obstruction (snoring). Surgery is needed for this.

@airlift-answer4apnea940
Airlift is a device that pulls the hyoid bone forward to allow more room in the lower throat when sleeping. Surgery is needed for this.

@prosomnusmarketing447
Prosomnus is a dental device moves the lower jaw (mandible) forward and helps to keep the back of the throat open for less snoring and a better sleep. This does not require surgery but does require a dentist to fit it to your teeth.

@ensodata2447
Ensodata is software driven by AI for more accurately predicting sleep disturbances in sleep studies. They are affordable, conscienscous of bias, and heavily involved in research in the field.

@NoxMedicalSleep
Nox is the closest mimic to an in-lab sleep study but at home. It has all the same measurements but in a lighter and portable way. It can be used in the lab or at home.

@apriahealthcare646
Apria Healthcare is the one that actually helps patients with their CPAP machine. They help with troubleshooting as well as support for continued use.
