Router Booting process :-
when you boot router switch on the power then boot strap program is loaded from ROM Component then boot strap tries to load IOS program from Flash memory if the IOS is not present there then it will go find out IOS from NVRAM and load in RAM .
This booting process uses multiple components like ROM ( POST. Bootstrap, Rommon , Mini IOS) RAM , NVRAM , Flash Memory .
