Beyond Code Live X: How to run Linux on Windows in 2021 (WSL & WSL2) [take 2]
There are a lot of misleading / outdated instructions out there. I've created a simple installer that Just Works.
In short: httsp://webinstall.dev/wsl
If ever the terminal appears to freeze, just hit enter.
1. System Updates
2. (optional-ish) Install Windows Terminal from Microsoft Store
2. One-line Installer: https://webinstall.dev/wsl
3. Restart
4. Run Installer Again: https://webinstall.dev/wsl
5. Open Ubuntu for the first time
Ubuntu WILL NOT show up in Windows SEARCH until it has EXITED CLEANLY!!
