In the channel settings (also called the channel strip), you'll find a noise gate, a compressor, an EQ, a de-esser, saturation, and a limiter. In this tutorial, I'll guide you through all the important channel settings. I'll explain how to adjust the gain, frequency, and Q (the quality factor) of a parametric EQ, and I'll show you how to set the threshold and ratio of a compressor.
