Sony TV XBR-65X930D No Power Repair - Common Issue Shorted Voltage Regulator
Sony 4K UHD TV (XBR-65X930D) with a common shorted voltage regulator ic on the DPS board. Sony was aware of this issue and had extended the warranty to 5 years from manufacturer date. If you have the same set and are the original owner you have until February 2024 to get it replaced for free. This repair was done for a family member that had acquired the set 2nd hand, therefore Sony would not replace it under warranty. But that didn’t stop us from getting it back in working order!
