Japan is using A.I. to translate for simulpubs... BUT WHY?!
Not sure if this will be a controversial take, but let's try to discuss this. Japanese publishers will be relying on A.I. technology to quickly translate their products for INSTANT worldwide release. Hired translators are extrememly upset over this and creating a fuss on X, but some people are on the fence with this. Is using A.I. to TRANSLATE products instantly the same as using A.I. to create art or replace actors? Let's discuss.
