As part of our project demonstration, we used iTranslate’s "Take Picture" feature to translate text displayed on an LCD screen. This real-life test shows how the app performs when scanning and translating text from an electronic display.

We simply opened the iTranslate app, tapped the camera icon, and pointed it at the LCD screen. With one click, the app captured the image and quickly identified the text displayed on the screen. Within seconds, it translated the content into our selected language, demonstrating the app’s ability to recognize and process digital text — even with potential glare or low contrast from a screen.

This experiment proved especially useful in understanding how iTranslate can assist in reading unfamiliar electronic instructions, device menus, or public information displayed on screens in a foreign language.

✅ Key Benefits Observed:
Quick and accurate detection of text on digital displays.

Helpful for tourists using foreign-language ticket machines or ATMs.

Great for tech users reading settings on devices sold in other languages.

This test highlights how versatile and practical the Take Picture feature is, even outside of printed materials — making it an excellent tool for real-world, on-the-go translation needs.
