Animus is the main Man of every Woman
The animus is the masculine part of the female psyche. It is the Spirit or protector of the Soul. This masculine part is hidden within every woman, unconsciously, protecting her from within. Just think about how beautiful this is.
The animus represents Yang or Logos energy; it represents structure, order, meaning, and idea. If a man's subconscious is a vast, unfathomable black hole of emotions for him, then a woman's subconscious is a structural cosmos.
Animus archetypes include Jesus Christ, the Angel of God, the elder, the sage, and the priest, but also, on the other "dark" side, the rapist, the murderer, and the Devil.
What is the unconscious animus? A man's main enemy is his mood, emotions, and feelings, if they are uncontrollable and unconscious. For a woman, it's the opposite—her main enemy resides in the mind. A woman's task is to understand her animus, to make it conscious, to transform it from the mind into reason and wisdom. What does an accepted animus give us? A woman becomes spiritually aware, which brings wisdom, insight, new ideas, contact with the Divine, creativity, self-expression, and the ability to comprehend reality and internal processes. A negative animus is a woman's tendency toward false teachings, when the mind takes over. The anima loves to exaggerate feelings, and the animus loves to exaggerate ideas, meanings, and opinions.
The Universe dislikes imbalances; if there is an imbalance within, it will seek a way to compensate for the imbalance externally.
It is more difficult for a woman to identify her unconscious part and its impact on her life because the animus is completely elusive, undetectable, and very difficult to distinguish.
