My recommendations for drying a new stove:
1. For the first 7-10 days, burn a small amount of wood every day. If possible, burn twice a day, morning and evening.
2. During the drying process, leave the main damper and ash pit door open.
3. After 10 days, gradually increase the amount of wood until the stove is fully loaded.
4. Monitor the drying process by observing the condensation on the cleanout doors. When condensation stops forming, the stove is dry.
