Up at 4am...briefly. Up at 8am. Coffee. Half a protein bar. Banana bread. Work. Meeting. Work Lunch. ISP guy. Work. 5:30pm done! Walk. Home. Dinner. Laundry. Bed?
Got a lot done today! Hit a roadblock at work yesterday trying to integrate a third-party sdk. Woke up this morning with the solution in my head. Tried it out and...it worked! (Had to do a little research, but it was the right solution).
Note to others: if you're building an app with SwiftUI and your AppDelegate isn't getting the open url with options call, you may need to use an onOpenUrl view modifier instead. Just a little pro tip.
And I finally got my PR approved and merged - data can now update in realtime! Sweet!
AND the ISP tech came by at 2:30pm (my appointment was for 4pm - 6pm)... I was nice about it, but I did ask if he could come back after 5pm; I was in the middle of my work day and I really couldn't have an interruption in my internet service just then.
He said, no problem. He'd just go next door and work on it outside.
Um...what?
He said, yeah. There are several other service calls on the block. He was going to check on the external equipment. If he needed to come back, he'd return after 5pm.
Oh. Cool. Okay.
I got back to work. No interruption in service. He never did return. BUT it's currently 10pm and my internet *still works*!!! Thanks ISP Service Guy!!! You rock!

p.s. on a more serious note; I got some potentially very bad news last night... (after I posted yesterday's vlog, so i didn't mention it there). We'll know more in a month or so. Until then, I'm going to keep positive thoughts.
