Highlight Data Magically on Mouse Movement using Excel VBA
Excel VBA Programming is full of hidden gems and combining your Excel skills with VBA skills can create magic and makes your Superstar. One of those examples is this tutorial. Here, I have combined Excel and VBA skills to create a customized report that works on mouse movement (not mouse click). In this tutorial, I have taken an example of Employee Data with four columns (Name, Department, Designation, DOJ). I have a separate list of all the departments. Now the moment I move my mouse cursor to any department, it highlights the data of all the employees of that respective department.
To Highlight Excel Data Magically on Mouse Movement, I have followed the steps:
1. Conditional Formatting to Highlight Rows
2. Created one-liner Function in VBA
3. Excel's HYPERLINK Function
4. Webdings Font to create Arrows
