First Talk Description:
• Firestore improvements for iOS
Max Kalik, iOS Engineer at Triumph Labs

Besides all provided features in Firebase, the key one is easy-to-use. Firebase is extremely simple to set up and use, with a user-friendly dashboard and documentation that makes it convenient for developers to get started quickly.
But even with all these pros, when it comes to a more complex project than just MVP, we can come across with architectural question: How to organize better communication with Firebase?
In this talk, we will try to improve the usage of Firebase by creating an extension with a set of helpers for reading, updating, listening, and querying data from Firestore by using custom Requests.

Max is an iOS Developer successfully solving both technical and user problems at all stages of product creation. He works at a classic San Francisco start-up Triumph Labs as an iOS Engineer where he actively developing a plug-and-play real money tournament SDK for game developers. Max writes articles about iOS app architecting, new technologies, SwiftUI, and some non-standard situations in iOS development.

Second Talk Description:
• SwiftUI in Production: Lessons Learned
Kabir Oberai, iOS Engineer at Ramp

An exploration of our takeaways building a robust SwiftUI app at Ramp. This talk chronicles the challenges we encountered, as well as solutions in the form of custom tooling, new frameworks, and opinionated architecture decisions.

Kabir is a Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He was granted a WWDC scholarship at 15 years old, and now has 10 years of experience developing and reverse-engineering iOS apps and tooling. Kabir has spent the last year working with Ramp to build their iOS app from the ground up.
