How to add a report 1. Wizard
KPImailer is a standalone app that integrates with Qlik Sense® to help you expand reporting across the company and beyond. Easy to install. Easy to set up. Even easier to report. With no limit of recipients.
1. Describe your use case & settings - In the first step, you can set all the relevant information for your reporting use case. Give your report a name, select the Qlik Sense app you need the data from, and add a description to your report. Personalize each Email by inserting smart tags in the Email subject.
2. Add context - After describing your use case, it's important to add context to your reporting.
Here is where you define:
What is the timeframe for my data that makes it relevant to this particular use case? Define the context by selecting one of the preconfigured timeframes: current week/month/year to day, previous week/month/year or current week/month/year. You can also define specific periods you are particularly interested in by clicking on the tool button.
When do I need it? Extensive scheduling options, even by the minute, to make sure the info you need reaches your inbox with perfect timing.
Choose to iterate your reporting on a particular Qlik Sense field, if you want to get a personalized report for each client/ employee/ supplier/product/ category etc. with their respective data.
3. Add your recipients: The last step of creating a context for your reporting is to define Who needs this report?
Add recipients manually, or choose to embed email addresses in your Qlik Sense data model to make sure everyone gets exactly the info they need, when they need it the most.
