🇮🇳 INDIA WEATHER
• A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from 28th March. Under its influence, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorm & lightning likely over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and also thunderstorm, lightning & hail likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad during 28th-29th March.
• Under the influence of strong lower level south-westerlies from the Bay of Bengal, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/thundersquall/lightning at isolated places are very likely over Northeast India during 29th March-02nd April with maximum activity during 30th-31st March. Isolated heavy falls on 29th & 31st March and isolated heavy to very heavy falls on 30th March are very likely over south Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram.
• Rise in maximum temperatures by 4-6°C over most parts of Northwest India during next 2 days. Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4°C over most parts of Central and South India during next 2 days and no significant change thereafter.
• No significant change in maximum temperatures over Gujarat and Konkan during next 2 days and gradual fall by 2-3°C thereafter. No significant change in maximum temperatures over interior Maharashtra during next 24 hours and gradual rise by 2-3°C thereafter.
🇱🇰 SRI LANKA WEATHER
Cloudy skies can expect over Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambantota and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the above areas.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night. Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa, Western, North-western, Central and Southern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva sand Western provinces during the morning.
