In this video, we will guide you through checking whether the Java JDK is properly installed and configured on your computer. To get started, we’ll open the Start button and search for the Terminal or Command Prompt. Both options work, but in this example, we’ll use the Terminal. Once the Windows Terminal is opened, we’ll check the version of the Java JDK installed on your system. By typing the command java --version and hitting Enter, you’ll be able to see if Java is installed and properly configured. If you see Java version details, it means everything is set up correctly. However, if you see an error message stating that "Java is not recognized as the name of a command," it indicates that Java JDK is not installed.
