As the saying goes "variety is the spice of life" and here
at Pineapple Digital, we put out music of different genres
and we are very proud to present to you Miwa's debut release
at PD! Miwa hails all the way from Tokyo.
She is a very popular singer & producer in Japan. Since
childhood MIWA grew up in a classical music family,
where her brother and is a classical pianist and aunt a
classical singer, and pursued her music training in piano.
Her demo was heard by Japanese labels and released few CDs
in Japan, and with the releases she met GOTO of rockband
Plagues and started music creation together, under the name
of “BRAVEBIRD” and “MIWA&GOTO”.
Soon she started collaborations and music creation for artists
such as Joi, Cargo, Chris Brann of Ananda Project and
Yugo Kanno(Soundtrack composer).
She recently had collaborations with Pavlin Petrov & Graham Lloris,
Vintage Colors, Ian Vaslow.
She has released on a number of labels such as Makira Deep,
BPM Records, Legion Music, and on Japanese labels such as Rambling
Records, Common Ground Recordings, Philter/HMV/FrancFranc Records,
PCI Music, Anchor (Sony), Warner Music Japan and VAP.
Miwa instills a serenity and beauty to her music like no other
and evolves passion and grace to all who hear her music.
With a voice so sensual and sultry like it was sent from the
heavens and an ear for composing amazing music its an honour to have
her on our 28th release.

note. Miwa's voice is angelic, sultry and unique and along
