From Concept to Construction (Curves in Architecture)
This video is an overview of a curvilinear canopy design modeled in SketchUp, and detailed in Revit. The SketchUp form was modeled using the Soap Skin & Bubble plugin:

Further freeform modeling was performed in Revit using the conceptual mass tool with splines creating forms that can be converted to curtain systems to represent façade / roof paneling.
Detailing and structural framing was coordinated in Revit for fabrication and construction documents.
This design was for Caputo's Fresh Markets located in Norridge, IL.
