I'll remind you of the definition of a paradox:
"A paradox, according to its etymology (from the Greek paradoxos, "παράδοξος": "contrary to common opinion," from para: "against," and doxa: "opinion"), is an idea or proposition that at first glance is surprising or shocking, that is, goes against common sense. In this sense, paradox also refers to a figure of speech consisting of formulating, within a speech, an expression, generally antithetical, that goes against common sense."
