This is How to Remove the small arrow icon in the bottom left of your desktop shortcuts on Windows 11 and Windows 10.
Here is the path that you can copy and paste:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Steps:
1. Open the Registry Editor by pressing Win + R, typing regedit, and hitting Enter.
2. Navigate to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\.
3. Right-click the Explorer folder, select New, and then choose Key. Name the new key Shell Icons.
4. If the Shell Icons folder already exists, you can skip the previous step.
5. Right-click inside the new Shell Icons folder, select New, and then choose String Value. Name it 29.
6. Double-click the new 29 string value and enter %windir%\System32\shell32.dll,-50 in the "Value data" field.
7. Restart Windows Explorer by right-clicking the taskbar, opening Task Manager, finding and right-clicking Windows Explorer, and selecting Restart. Alternatively, you can simply reboot your computer.
I also teach you how to reverse this process in case you ever wish to have the arrow icons again.
