Maid Cafes are a unique Japanese subculture where girls dress up like Maids and serve their customers food and drink with a dash of extra kindness, and entertainment. It's a subculture that I have never really understood. Why would someone choose to do this job? What does their family think? What is it really like to work at a maid cafe in Japan? And so today, we take a deeper look at why someone would take this job, and what its really like. This is the story of Memochi.
