Major Modes HACK 🎸
A great way to start exploring the modes is through the pentatonic major and pentatonic minor scales. Here, I’m sharing the 3 major modes that live inside of the major scale. The Lydian, the Major scale itself (aka Ionian mode), and the Mixolydian mode. It’s really the 4ths and 7ths that differentiate the scales. These subtle changes in notes cause a large difference in application and the chords you might play these over. Hope you dig it and feel free to reach out with any questions.
