Hello everyone! Welcome to the 22nd episode of Microsoft hour of code brought to you by millionlights. Millionlights is a TV channel dedicated to improving skills of people and their employability.
Now, let me tell you more about Microsoft hour of code. Microsoft hour of code is a series of lectures, courses and talks by experts, who are going to discuss the latest Microsoft technologies, topics related to programming and industry forecasts that are all focused on employability.

Today, we are going to learn the C# fundamentals. This is a beginner's course for people pursuing computer science. These episodes have everything you need to upgrade your skills. These courses are not only beneficial for students, but also for working people.
As you know, today, we are going to learn C# fundamentals. This content has been created by our partner Microsoft. We have Bob Tabor from Microsoft with us, who will help you learn fundamentals of C#.

But, before we start, you need to have a computer system with a 64 bit processor or a 32 bit processor. Other required tools are a windows notepad and any web browser such as internet explorer.
If you want to learn a different programming language, C# is a great place to start. Tune in to learn the basics of the C# language, and learn to apply them in your programming endeavours, like video games, mobile environments, and client apps.

Let's move towards the course. The topics we are going to cover in this episode are:

1) Working with dates and times in which we will find out how to work with date and time data, how to create new instances of date time, how to add time and how to format the data for display and the time span class.

2) Understanding classes in which we will learn how classes are defined and new instances are created, how to define properties and how to both set values and get values for a given instance of the class.

3) More about classes and methods. We will dig into more details about classes: create a new instance, add class references, pass the reference to a method, review overloaded methods, static versus instance methods, and constructors.

So, let's get started

That's all for this episode. I hope this tutorial was helpful.
