APOCALYPSE 5 & 10K INFORMATION
Start time of Apocalypse 5 & 10k is 7 pm (yes it's a night race!!) on next October 26th 2013 at île Notre-Dame (Montréal, parc Jean-Drapeau). The exact starting area is situated across the bridge that relates both Islands, just a few steps away from the metro station parc Jean-Drapeau. To get there, we highly suggest to use the metro system, exit at parc Jean-Drapeau station (yellow line), walk a few feet and to cross the Bridge to access the Notre-Dame Island and there you are! For those who plan to drive, you can park your car at: P2 -Parking ($), situated very near the Starting/Finishing Area.
THE CONCEPT
Presented in the Halloween season time, Apocalypse is a unique running experience in wich the course plunge the runner into a supense movie atmosphere. The event will be sanctioned by the Quebec Athletic Federation (in process) and meets the security/safety standards. It is a road race so you won't find any obstacles to go through. No climbing, no crawling, no burpees. Just running.

(Start location is L'épingle of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, going toward the Casino, pass the pit lane, turning left and complete a tour around the Olympic Basin, up on the cycle path, back to F1 circuit, Floralies and back to the Starting/Finish area.
• 2 water stations on the 10K course situated at the 2.5k and 7.5K.
• headlamps are permitted but not mandatory
• Yes runners! You can wear costumes!
• No bike, no rollerblades, no pets on the course.
• Prizes (top 3 finishers in each events and age category prizes)
WHAT RUNNERS GET
Every 10K finishers will receive a medal and a tech-shirt plus a printable personalised certificate will be available online a few weeks after the event through the timing company website (www.Sportstats.ca) .
PICK UP YOUR NUMBER!
Every 10K runners got to pick-up their bibnumbers at the tent "DOSSARDS/NUMBERS" situated at the starting area on notre-dame island a few steps away from metro station parc Jean-Drapeau. if you get there by car, you can park at P2 parking lot ($).
