Guitar modding 🎸 - Part 8 - Learnings
Thank you for following along my modding journey! In this video I'm sharing some learnings from the process and wrapping up this project.
Update:
I have played the guitar a bit more since then and made a couple other tweaks:
Added rolling string trees
Removed the washers from the Dusenberg Les Trem mounting to increase the break angle of the strings over the bridge. I stil think it's sitting a bit too high (due to the mounting studs in the guitar) and this might afect tuning stability / playability
I think I've also set the action a bit high during the setup so I definitely need to address that but I've been pretty happy with all the tones I've been getting and having a lot of fun with the tremolo as well.
