CS1PAP - Installing SharpDevelop
In this video, we discuss how to install SharpDevelop, the client we'll be using in our Pre-AP Computer Science class. We also run a couple of Hello World programs to ensure the C# Compiler is working.
EDIT: If you plan on using a Mac or OS X to create C# code, you'll need to install MonoDevelop. The link is http://monodevelop.com/Download . Make sure you install the Mono + GTK# package before installing MonoDevelop. As I don't have a Mac computer, I can't test this out, but hope to get it working on students' laptops in class.
