Microservices are one of the most popular design patterns in cloud architecture. The benefits are obvious but there are some challenges that come with that. How to track all the requests that come into our distributed system? Which microservice is responsible for latency spike? Distributed tracing is there to answer those questions. This presentation aims to showcase how to set up distributed tracing within your application and to demonstrate that it is way easier than most anticipate.
