Susan Latham will share her moments of amazement at the wild and wondrous knot designs found in nature and how she integrates science and art in her artistic endeavors, and especially in the creation of fiber knot sculptures and jewelry designs. Latham is a metal and fiber art sculptor with a keen eye for photography, a member of the arts community since 1996. Spurned by her lifelong attraction to both science and art, she founded and directed The Forum for Science and Art which brought artists and scientists together to explore the creative process for 14 years. Her work has been represented in various galleries in Santa Fe and Truchas, currently by The Freeman Gallery, 201 Canyon Road, Santa Fe.
